  7. FundRaiser Basic is a VERY easy to learn and use donor management
  8. program that is designed for small non-profits and those new to
  9. fundraising and/or computers.

  11. Here are the tools you need to fundraiser like a real professional.
  12. In one simple and easy session, you can record donations, make
  13. address changes, code donors, print timely thank you letters and
  14. labels (with the built-in word processor), and print a deposit
  15. report - all without having to leave the program!

  17. Targeted mailings are a snap, as are the impressive and useful
  18. reports.

  20. This newest version sports an easy-to-use (yet powerful) importing
  21. facility, so you can move your existing mailing list right into
  22. FundRaiser Basic, without having to re-enter everything.  It also
  23. contains a new donation report, and offers better support for the
  24. popular Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 4 series of printers.

  30. To install FundRaiser Basic, first log on to the disk drive, by
  31. typing:
  32.   A:  (or  B:)  and then pressing Enter.  
  33.  
  34. Then, type:
  35.   INSTALL C             where C is the drive (A-G) you want to 
  36.                         install onto
  37. or:
  38.   INSTALL MANUAL        for instructions on how to install manually.
  39.  
  40. Then, to start the program, just type:  FRB and press Enter.
  41.  
  42. See the Installation section of VENDINFO.DIZ for more complete
  43. instructions.

  45. Note:  when you first start FundRaiser Basic, it will check your
  46.        CONFIG.SYS boot file to make sure there are enough file 
  47.        handles specified and will offer to make a change for you 
  48.        if necessary. (FILES=22)
